4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

to taste Salt

to taste Cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F.

  2. Place the brisket on a large sheet of heavy-duty foil.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce to create a marinade.

  4. Rub the marinade mixture thoroughly on both sides of the brisket.

  5. Sprinkle the fat side generously with salt and cracked pepper to taste.

  6. Wrap the brisket tightly in the foil, sealing all edges to trap moisture and flavor.

  7. Place the wrapped brisket in a roasting pan and transfer to the preheated oven.

  8. Roast for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until the meat is tender when pierced with a fork.

  9. Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest in the foil for 10 to 15 minutes.

  10. Unwrap carefully and slice the brisket against the grain into desired thickness.

  11. Rewrap the sliced brisket in foil and keep warm until ready to serve.
