Ingredients
1 cucumber
1 green apple
2 kale leaves
1 lemon
1 lime
½ bunch fresh parsley
1 cup red seedless grapes
½ bunch fresh spinach
ice cubes
Directions
Rinse all produce under cool running water to remove any dirt or debris. If using a conventionally grown cucumber, peel it with a vegetable peeler. For the lemon and lime, peel them or leave the skin on based on your preference and equipment capability.
Feed the cucumber, green apple, kale leaves, lemon, lime, parsley, red grapes, and spinach through a juicer according to the manufacturer's instructions, working in batches if needed.
Divide the fresh juice between two glasses filled with ice cubes and serve immediately while the juice is at its peak freshness.
Comments
Every ingredient is stocked at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Walmart, ALDI, and Kroger year-round, with no special stops needed. At roughly $1.50 per serving for fresh produce and ice, this is genuinely cheap for a fresh juice. The stated five minutes is honest if you own a juicer or high-powered blender; without either, budget an extra five for pressing and straining by hand. This makes a single-serving refreshment rather than a leftover-friendly meal, and the juice separates within hours, so it's best consumed right away.
