Ingredients

1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted, and cut into 1/4-inch dice (or 1 cup thawed frozen mango chunks)

1 tablespoon red onion, finely diced

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (or bottled fresh lime juice)

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and clean running water before preparing the salsa.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, diced red onion, chopped cilantro, salt, and lime juice.

  3. Gently stir all ingredients together until evenly mixed, being careful not to break down the mango pieces.

  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more salt or lime juice to your preference.

  5. Serve immediately with baked tortilla chips, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
