Ingredients
½ tsp. Instant espresso powder
1 tsp. Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 whole Vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped
1 cup Heavy cream
14 oz. Sweetened condensed milk
1 cup Irish whiskey
Directions
In a small pot, whisk together the espresso powder, cocoa powder, and vanilla bean seeds. Pour in the heavy cream and add the split vanilla bean pod. Heat the mixture over low heat to a bare simmer, stirring occasionally. Once steaming, remove from heat and let steep undisturbed for 30 minutes to allow the vanilla to fully infuse.
Discard the vanilla bean pod from the pot. Pour the steeped cream mixture into a blender, then add the sweetened condensed milk and Irish whiskey. Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds until smooth and well combined. Serve immediately over ice or desserts, or pour into a clean, airtight glass container and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
