Ingredients
1½ tablespoons coconut condensed milk
2 shots espresso
Directions
Pour the coconut condensed milk into a small coffee cup. Add more if you prefer a sweeter drink.
Slowly pour the hot espresso over the condensed milk, allowing it to blend together.
Stir well to combine the espresso and coconut milk thoroughly. Add a splash of hot water if you prefer a milder strength.
Enjoy the coffee warm, or allow it to cool and serve over ice for a refreshing iced version.
Comments
Coconut condensed milk is easy to find at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Kroger, and Walmart, and espresso requires only an espresso machine or strong coffee—no special trips. At roughly $1.50 for a serving (condensed milk and coffee grounds amortized), this is genuinely cheap. The five-minute claim is honest if you already have an espresso machine ready; total time including setup is closer to ten. This is a single-serve, no-leftovers dessert drink that works as a weeknight treat, though it needs to be consumed immediately while the condensed milk is still layered and the coffee hot.
