Ingredients

1 pound crab claw meat

10 ounces Philadelphia 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup diced yellow bell pepper

1/4 cup sliced green onions

1 egg white

Salt to taste

20 wonton wrappers

1 egg white for sealing

Cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, softened cream cheese, diced yellow bell pepper, sliced green onions, and one egg white. Season with salt to taste and stir until all ingredients are well blended.

  3. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean work surface. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the crab filling in the center of the wrapper.

  4. Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with the second egg white to help seal the wrapper.

  5. Fold the wonton wrapper in half diagonally to form a triangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal and remove any air pockets.

  6. Place the folded wonton on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  7. Lightly spray each wonton with cooking spray to promote even browning.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until the wontons are golden brown and crispy.

  9. Remove from oven and serve warm.
