Ingredients

1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

4 tablespoons strawberry preserves

2 medium pears, cored and cut into 1-inch cubes

2 cups fresh strawberries, stems removed

2 medium bananas, cut into 1-inch slices

1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks in juice, drained

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before preparing the fruit.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the low-fat vanilla yogurt and strawberry preserves until well combined. Set the dipping sauce aside.

  3. Core and cut the pears into 1-inch cubes. Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut the bananas into 1-inch slices. Drain the pineapple chunks if they are packed in juice.

  4. Thread the prepared fruits onto skewers by alternating pear cubes, strawberries, banana slices, and pineapple chunks. Repeat the pattern until the skewers are filled, leaving enough space at each end to hold comfortably.

  5. Arrange the fruit kabobs on a serving platter and place a small bowl of the strawberry yogurt dipping sauce in the center or on the side for serving.
