Ingredients
1 stick butter, melted
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 large egg
1 dark chocolate cake mix
1 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Cup minis, halved
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
3/4 cup Reese's Pieces, divided
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, dark chocolate cake mix, and egg. Beat together until a soft dough forms.
Add the softened cream cheese to the bowl and mix until completely combined throughout the dough.
Fold in the peanut butter chips, halved Reese's Peanut Butter Cup minis, and 1/2 cup of the Reese's Pieces, stirring until evenly distributed.
Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm enough to handle.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll the chilled dough into 24 balls of equal size.
Place dough balls on a lined cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Press a few of the remaining Reese's Pieces onto the top of each dough ball.
Bake for 10 minutes, being careful not to overbake. The cookies should be set but still slightly soft.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the cookies to rest on the hot pan for 2 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to parchment paper and cool completely at room temperature.
Store the cooled cookies in a tightly sealed container at room temperature.
