Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, trimmed and thinly sliced

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon vinegar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 large onions, sliced

1 large tomato, sliced

3 cups potatoes, diced and boiled

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before beginning preparation.

  2. Trim any excess fat from the sirloin steak and cut the meat into thin, bite-sized pieces for even cooking.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring occasionally, until it becomes golden and fragrant.

  4. Add the sliced beef pieces, vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to coat the meat evenly with the seasonings.

  5. Cook for 6 minutes, stirring frequently and breaking up any clumps, until the beef is browned on all sides and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F for medium doneness.

  6. Add the sliced onions and tomato to the skillet, stirring to combine with the beef.

  7. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes until the onion slices become translucent and tender.

  8. Divide the boiled potatoes among serving plates and top each portion with the stir-fried beef mixture.
