Ingredients
1/4 cup gochujang
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
3 medium cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
Directions
In a small bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar. Stir until the gochujang is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth with no lumps.
Add the dark brown sugar to the bowl and mix thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved and incorporated into the sauce.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, blending well to distribute the aromatics evenly throughout the sauce.
Drizzle in the toasted sesame oil and stir until fully combined. Taste and adjust sweetness or heat as desired.
Transfer to a serving dish or storage container. Use immediately as a dipping sauce or brush onto fried chicken. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
