Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon espresso powder
1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon real vanilla extract
Directions
Pour the heavy cream into a blender or mixing bowl. If using a blender, blend on medium speed for 1–2 minutes until the cream is lightly whipped but still pourable (you want soft peaks, not stiff peaks).
Add the sweetened condensed milk to the whipped cream and gently fold together until fully combined and smooth.
In a small bowl, whisk together the espresso powder and unsweetened cocoa powder. Add this mixture to the cream mixture and stir thoroughly until no streaks remain.
Pour in the Irish whiskey and vanilla extract, and stir well until completely blended and smooth with no visible lumps.
Transfer the liqueur to clean glass bottles with tight-fitting lids. Store in a cool, dark place or refrigerator. The cream liqueur will keep for up to 2 months refrigerated or in a cool cellar.
Before serving, shake or stir the bottle gently to recombine any settled ingredients. Serve as a dessert liqueur, in coffee, or over ice cream.
