Ingredients
4 cups strongly brewed coffee-chicory blend
6 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
½ cup whole milk
2 tablespoons whole milk
½ cup rum-based orange liqueur
ice cubes
orange twists for garnish
Directions
Brew 4 cups of coffee using a strong coffee-chicory blend, following your preferred brewing method. Allow to cool to room temperature, approximately 30 minutes.
Once cooled, pour the brewed coffee-chicory blend into a large pitcher.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk with 2 tablespoons of whole milk until well combined and smooth.
Slowly pour the condensed milk mixture into the pitcher of cooled coffee, stirring constantly to blend evenly.
Add the remaining ½ cup of whole milk to the pitcher and stir until fully incorporated.
Pour the rum-based orange liqueur into the pitcher and stir well to combine all ingredients.
Divide the punch equally among four glasses filled with ice cubes.
Garnish each glass with an orange twist and serve immediately.
Comments
Creole Coffee Punch is a showstopper for a small gathering, and the ingredients are nearly all shelf-stable pantry finds at any Charlotte supermarket—condensed milk, whole milk, and ice cost pennies per serving. The real cost driver is the coffee-chicory blend and rum-based orange liqueur, which you'll find at Harris Teeter or Kroger but may require a deliberate hunt if you shop ALDI or Food Lion; budget $8–12 total for those two items. The stated 100 minutes is honest if you're making this for company and want to chill it properly, but actual hands-on time is under 10 minutes—just brew, combine, and pour. The caveat: this is a same-night, cocktail-hour drink that doesn't keep well past a few hours, so it's not a make-ahead meal-prep move, and it demands fresh orange at the moment of service.
