Ingredients

1½ cups Irish whiskey (such as Jameson)

1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

2 teaspoons instant coffee

1½ cups heavy cream

Directions

  1. Pour the Irish whiskey into a blender. Add the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and instant coffee. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

  2. Transfer the blended whiskey mixture to a large bowl. Add the heavy cream and stir gently but thoroughly with a whisk or spoon until the cream is completely combined and the mixture is uniform in color and texture.

  3. Pour the finished Irish cream into glass bottles or jars with tight-fitting lids. Cover securely and refrigerate. The liqueur will keep well for up to two weeks when stored covered in the refrigerator.

  4. To serve, pour the chilled Irish cream over ice in a glass. Enjoy as an elegant dessert drink or after-dinner liqueur.
