Ingredients

1½ cups almond milk

1 tablespoon chia seeds

½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

½ cup fresh diced strawberries

Directions

  1. Pour the almond milk into a medium saucepan and bring to a gentle heat over medium-low. Add the old-fashioned oats, chia seeds, and vanilla extract, stirring well to combine.

  2. Cook the oat mixture, stirring occasionally (about every minute), for 5–6 minutes until the oats are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed. Some liquid may remain, which is normal.

  3. Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the vanilla protein powder and stir vigorously until the powder is fully dissolved and incorporated throughout the oatmeal. The residual heat will help blend the powder smoothly.

  4. Transfer the oatmeal to a serving bowl and top with the fresh diced strawberries. Serve warm and enjoy.
