Ingredients

1 medium cucumber

1 small tomato or 2 grape tomatoes

Directions

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and clean water before beginning.

  2. Rinse the cucumber and tomato under cool running water, rubbing gently to remove any dirt or debris. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

  3. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick. Arrange the slices on a small plate in a wavy, snake-like pattern, slightly overlapping each slice as you create the body.

  4. Slice the tomato (or tomatoes) into 2 thin rounds. Position these slices at the head end of your cucumber snake to form the eyes.

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy your creative vegetable snake.
