Ingredients

5 ounces canned tuna packed in water, drained and flaked

1 can (4 oz) chopped roasted green chiles

1/4 cup diced celery

1/4 cup diced red onion

1/4 cup light mayonnaise

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley

6 slider rolls, split

fresh lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained flaked tuna, chopped green chiles, diced celery, diced red onion, light mayonnaise, and fresh cilantro. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly distributed and the tuna salad is well combined.

  2. Place a slider roll on a clean work surface and carefully separate the top and bottom halves.

  3. Line the bottom half of each slider roll with one or two fresh lettuce leaves.

  4. Spoon a generous portion of the tuna mixture onto the lettuce-lined bottom half of each roll.

  5. Top each slider with the upper half of the roll and serve immediately.
