Ingredients

1½ lb Pork tenderloin

Coarse salt

Ground pepper

4 tbsp Butter

2 tbsp Honey

¼ cup Water

Directions

  1. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Season generously all over with coarse salt and ground pepper.

  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F with the rack positioned in the center.

  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, honey, and water. Stir until the butter melts and the ingredients are well blended into a smooth glaze.

  4. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin in a baking dish. Pour the honeyed butter mixture over the meat, coating it evenly.

  5. Transfer the baking dish to the preheated oven and roast for 25 to 30 minutes. About halfway through cooking, baste the pork with the pan sauce using a spoon or brush.

  6. The pork is done when an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 145°F. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes.

  7. Transfer the pork to a cutting board and slice into 1-inch thick pieces. Arrange the slices on a serving platter and drizzle the honeyed butter sauce from the pan over the top before serving.
