Ingredients
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup all-purpose unbleached flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped Granny Smith apple, peeled (about 1 medium apple)
1 cup chopped Snickers candy bars
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and set it aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and packed brown sugar. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the mixture for about 1 minute until it is well blended.
Add the eggs one at a time to the butter-sugar mixture, beating on low speed after each addition until just incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients in the large bowl. Mix on low speed until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the chopped apples and Snickers pieces until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula, making sure it reaches all corners.
Bake in the preheated oven for 27 to 32 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
Remove the pan from the oven and allow the blondies to cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares and serving.
