Ingredients
4 ounces chilled strong brewed coffee
1 tablespoon simple syrup
1½ ounces Irish whiskey
1 ounce heavy cream, chilled
Directions
Pour the chilled strong coffee into a glass filled with ice, reserving enough space for the whiskey and cream.
Stir in the simple syrup until fully dissolved and well combined with the cold coffee.
Add the Irish whiskey to the coffee mixture and stir gently to blend the flavors.
Slowly pour the chilled heavy cream over the back of a spoon held just above the surface of the drink, allowing it to float gently on top.
Serve immediately and enjoy the contrast of cold coffee and whiskey beneath the creamy layer.
