Ingredients

1 1/8 cups granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups whole milk

1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract

10 ounces peach pie, cut into bite-sized pieces

Directions

  1. Pour the whole milk into a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on low speed, blend the milk with the granulated sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely into the milk.

  2. Add the heavy cream, vanilla paste or extract, and ground cinnamon to the bowl. Continue mixing on low speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.

  3. Transfer the prepared mixture into your ice cream maker's freezer bowl and begin churning according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  4. Churn the mixture for approximately 20 minutes, until it begins to thicken and resemble soft-serve ice cream.

  5. During the final 5 minutes of churning, add the bite-sized pieces of peach pie to the ice cream maker and continue mixing until they are evenly distributed throughout.

  6. The ice cream will have a soft, creamy texture when finished. Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for approximately 2 hours if a firmer texture is preferred.
