Ingredients

1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

1 kiwi, peeled and cut into small pieces

4 large strawberries, hulled and cut into small pieces (about 1/2 cup)

Paper straws or wooden popsicle sticks

Directions

  1. Peel the kiwi and chop it into small bite-sized pieces. Hull the strawberries by removing the green stem, then chop them into small pieces as well. You should have roughly equal amounts of each fruit.

  2. Pour the low-fat vanilla yogurt into a bowl. Add the chopped kiwi and strawberry pieces to the yogurt, then stir gently until the fruit is evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.

  3. Carefully divide the yogurt and fruit mixture into 8 sections of an ice cube tray or into 4 small paper cups, filling each section about three-quarters full.

  4. Insert a paper straw or wooden popsicle stick into the center of each pop, pressing it down gently so it stands upright and is supported by the yogurt mixture.

  5. Place the tray or cups in the freezer and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight, until the mixture is completely solid. Run warm water over the back of the ice cube tray or peel away paper cups to remove the pops, then enjoy immediately.
