Ingredients

2 cups pomegranate juice

1½ cups sugar

4 tablespoons pomegranate molasses

2 teaspoons rosewater

Directions

  1. Pour the pomegranate juice into a medium saucepan and place it over medium heat.

  2. Once the juice begins to simmer, stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.

  3. Maintain a gentle simmer and allow the mixture to reduce for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

  5. Stir in the pomegranate molasses and rosewater, blending thoroughly until evenly combined.

  6. Transfer the grenadine to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use. The syrup will thicken slightly as it cools.
