Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (10.75 oz.) condensed cheddar cheese soup
½ cup chunky salsa
8 flour tortillas
2 cups shredded lettuce
Directions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart as it cooks, for 8–10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F and no pink remains. Drain any excess fat.
Stir the cheddar cheese soup and chunky salsa into the cooked beef, mixing until well combined. Cook for 1–2 minutes more, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is heated through and creamy.
Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a gas flame for about 30 seconds per side, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 1 minute until soft and pliable.
Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each warm tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce. Fold or roll the tortillas and serve immediately.
