A refreshing and creamy smoothie made with just three simple ingredients: ripe mango, Greek yogurt, and warm cinnamon. Perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch, this naturally sweet treat requires no added sugar and comes together in minutes. The tartness of the yogurt balances beautifully with the tropical sweetness of fresh mango, topped with a hint of cinnamon spice and garnished with fresh mango pieces.

Ingredients

1 ripe mango, peeled and cut into medium chunks

2 tablespoons Greek yogurt

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided

Directions

  1. Wash the mango thoroughly and peel away the skin using a vegetable peeler or paring knife. Cut the mango flesh away from the pit into medium-sized chunks. Reserve approximately 1 teaspoon of mango and dice it finely for garnish.

  2. Place the mango chunks and Greek yogurt into a blender. Add ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon.

  3. Blend on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture reaches a smooth, creamy consistency. If the smoothie becomes too thick, add a splash of water or milk to reach your desired texture. Use a rubber spatula to scrape down the blender sides if any mango gets stuck.

  4. Pour the smoothie into a serving cup. Top with the reserved diced mango pieces and finish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon.

All three ingredients are standard stock at every major Charlotte grocer—mango is year-round produce at Harris Teeter and Kroger, Greek yogurt is a dairy staple everywhere, and cinnamon is pantry baseline. The five-minute timing is honest for blending and serving. Cost per serving runs under two dollars: a pound of mango is roughly three to four dollars, Greek yogurt is often on sale around three dollars per large container, and you already have cinnamon. The real weakness is that this is a same-night drink with zero reheating option and only three ingredients means minimal flavor development or textural interest compared to recipes that build complexity through technique.
