5 pounds gummy bears
16 ounces vodka (or more as needed)
24 plastic champagne glasses

Directions
Measure out the amount of gummy bears needed by filling each plastic champagne glass just below the rim level with gummy bears—this determines how much will be infused. Multiply this amount by 24 to establish the total quantity needed.
Spread the measured gummy bears in an even layer in a 9x13-inch baking dish or large container.
Pour vodka over the gummy bears until they are just slightly covered but not completely submerged. Cover the container tightly with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for up to 24 hours, stirring the gummy bears every few hours to distribute the vodka evenly and achieve consistent flavor absorption.
Once the gummy bears reach your desired level of booziness, carefully drain off excess vodka and pat the gummy bears dry with paper towels.
Transfer the prepared gummy bears to a clean container and keep refrigerated until assembly.
