Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey (85% lean)
2 medium onions, finely chopped
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley)
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before handling the raw turkey.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley.
Using your hands or a large spoon, gently mix the ingredients together until just combined. Do not overmix, as this can make the patties tough.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 3/4 inch thick, making a slight indent in the center with your thumb.
Heat a skillet or grill to medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F when measured with a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of each patty.
Transfer the cooked burgers to a clean plate and serve immediately on buns with your favorite toppings.
