Ingredients
1 teaspoon butter, melted
2 (15-ounce) cans chickpeas, rinsed, drained, and thoroughly dried
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4½ tablespoons buffalo hot sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
Pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (or 375°F if using a convection oven).
In a large bowl, combine the drained and dried chickpeas with the melted butter, garlic powder, buffalo hot sauce, olive oil, and salt. Toss until all the chickpeas are evenly coated with the sauce and seasonings.
Spread the coated chickpeas in a single layer on a baking pan or sheet.
Bake for 40-45 minutes (or 30-32 minutes if using convection), stirring or tossing the chickpeas once or twice during baking. The sauce may cause some sticking to the pan, but this is normal—simply use a spatula to scrape them loose as needed. The chickpeas will remain intact and become crispy.
Remove from the oven and allow the chickpeas to cool in the pan for a few minutes.
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy warm. These are best served immediately.
