Ingredients
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup dark brown sugar
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup white chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or line a 9x9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or butter.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, dark brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined. Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
Add the flour and fine sea salt to the wet ingredients. Mix gently until just combined and no dry flour streaks remain. Do not overmix.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips using a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly to fill all corners. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated 350°F oven for 18-20 minutes. The top should look golden and set, but the center should still appear slightly underbaked and soft when you gently jiggle the pan. Do not overbake.
Remove from the oven and let the blondies cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, cut into 9 equal squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
