Ingredients
½ pound Sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1½ teaspoons Cajun seasoning
½ teaspoon Chilli powder
Salt
Directions
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil it to prevent sticking.
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into uniform fries approximately 1/4 inch thick and 3-4 inches long for even cooking.
Place the cut sweet potato fries in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly.
In a small bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, chili powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
Sprinkle the spice mixture over the oiled sweet potatoes and toss thoroughly, making sure every fry is well seasoned.
Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, avoiding overcrowding to allow for proper roasting and crisping.
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring the fries halfway through cooking, until they are golden brown with crispy edges and tender inside.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving to allow them to firm up slightly.
