Ingredients

6 cups frozen watermelon cubes

1 cup fresh mint leaves

1 cup water

¼ tsp ground cinnamon

½ cup milk

Directions

  1. Prepare fresh watermelon by cutting into cubes and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Freeze for 1 to 2 hours until solid.

  2. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Pour the boiling water over the fresh mint leaves in a heatproof bowl or pitcher and let steep for 10 minutes to extract the mint flavor.

  3. Strain the mint leaves from the liquid, discarding the solids. Place the mint-infused water in the refrigerator and chill for 1 to 2 hours until completely cool.

  4. Add the frozen watermelon cubes, chilled mint-infused water, ground cinnamon, and milk to a blender.

  5. Blend on high speed for about 15 seconds, until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy with a uniform consistency. Do not over-blend.

  6. Pour the cooler into serving glasses and serve immediately while still cold and thick.
