Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 medium turnips, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
2 medium carrots, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
3 tablespoons honey
Directions
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before beginning preparation.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
Add the cubed turnips and carrots to the skillet along with the salt. Sauté for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables begin to soften and show light browning at the edges.
Stir in the minced garlic and sesame seeds. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and the sesame seeds become lightly toasted.
Drizzle the honey over the vegetables and toss well to coat evenly. Cook for 1 minute more, allowing the honey to warm and combine with the other ingredients.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
