Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon salt-free Cajun seasoning blend
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, which helps the seasoning adhere better and promotes even cooking.
In a small bowl, combine the salt-free Cajun seasoning blend with the kosher salt. Mix well to create an even spice blend.
Rub the chicken breasts on both sides with the unsalted butter.
Generously coat each buttered chicken breast with the Cajun seasoning mixture, using your fingers to press it onto the surface for good adhesion.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F when measured at the thickest part with a meat thermometer.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 3 to 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
