Ingredients
6 ounce hot filter coffee
1.5 ounce Irish whiskey
0.5 ounce Demerara syrup
3 dash pimento bitters
2 ounce half and half cream
Directions
Brew 6 ounces of fresh filter coffee and pour into a warm cocktail glass or Irish coffee cup.
Add the Irish whiskey and Demerara syrup to the hot coffee, stirring gently until the syrup dissolves completely.
Add the three dashes of pimento bitters and stir to combine all ingredients evenly.
Lightly whip the half and half cream until it reaches a pourable consistency, then carefully float it over the back of a bar spoon onto the surface of the coffee so it forms a creamy layer on top.
Serve immediately while the coffee is still hot, with the cream floating on top for a beautiful presentation and luxurious drinking experience.
