This is a five-minute blender job, not 45 minutes—the stated time wildly overstates actual prep. All ingredients are standard at Charlotte grocers: wafer cookies, mocha and vanilla ice cream, and milk are ubiquitous at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Publix, Walmart, ALDI, and Kroger. Cost per serving runs around $2.50 to $3.00, driven by the ice cream. The real catch is that this is a single-serving dessert that demands immediate consumption and does not reheat or keep, so it suits an afternoon treat or a planned indulgence rather than a weeknight add-on.
