Ingredients

2 cups dry-roasted peanuts

3 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons peanut or vegetable oil

½ teaspoon table salt

Directions

  1. Add the dry-roasted peanuts, honey, oil, and salt to a food processor. Pulse and process the mixture for about 4 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl every minute or so. The mixture will initially form small clumps as the peanut oils release, but will gradually become creamier and thinner until it reaches a smooth, peanut butter consistency.

  2. Transfer the finished peanut butter to a 1-cup jar or storage container. Allow it to cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes before serving. The peanut butter can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 months; stir well to recombine any separated oil before each use.
