Ingredients
4 cups Mint chocolate chip ice cream
½ cup Cold strong brewed coffee
½ cup Chocolate syrup
½ cup Whole milk
¼ cup Chopped Andes mint candies
for garnish Whipped cream
Directions
Drizzle chocolate syrup inside four serving glasses in a swirling pattern to coat the inner walls. Set aside.
Add the mint chocolate chip ice cream, cold coffee, chocolate syrup, and milk to a blender.
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
Carefully pour the blended milkshake into the prepared glasses, dividing evenly among all four servings.
Top each glass with a generous dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chopped Andes mints. Serve immediately and enjoy with a straw.
Comments
Every ingredient is stocked at any Harris Teeter, Food Lion, or Walmart in Charlotte, with no special stops required. The stated 45 minutes is wildly wrong for what is essentially blending ice cream, milk, and coffee into glasses; actual prep is under five minutes. At roughly $0.75 to $1.00 per serving depending on ice cream brand choice and whether you already have coffee at home, this is a cheap indulgence. It's a same-night dessert that doesn't reheat, but the ease of execution and complete ingredient availability make it a solid occasional treat for families who like frozen drinks.
