Ingredients

1½ medium apples, such as Gala, Fuji, or Honeycrisp

1½ cups butternut squash, peeled and cut into chunks

1½ cups jicama, peeled and cut into chunks

Directions

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly under cool running water and pat dry.

  2. Peel the butternut squash and jicama, then cut both into smaller chunks that will fit easily into your juicer's feed tube.

  3. Core and cut the apples into smaller pieces suitable for your juicer.

  4. Feed the butternut squash, jicama, and apple pieces through your juicer, alternating between vegetables and fruit for optimal juice extraction.

  5. Pour the freshly extracted juice through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass, pressing gently on any pulp to maximize liquid extraction while removing excess fiber and starch.

  6. Taste the juice and adjust the flavor balance to your preference by adding any of the produce if needed. Serve immediately over ice for maximum freshness and enjoyment.
