Summary

WASHINGTON, Oct. 02, 2026, Inexport Logistics LLC, a Miami, Fla. firm, is recalling approximately 189 pounds of potato chip products containing chicharrón (pork cracklings) because they were produced in the Republic of Colombia, a country that is not eligible to export meat products to the United States, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The following products are subject to recall, regardless of the product date [view labels]: 60-g. foil bags of “YUPI GOLPE CON TODO SABOR BBQ” mixed chips with “Clásicas,” “PLATANOS,” and “Chicharrón Fred.” The products subject to the recall do not bear any import marks on the labels. These items were shipped to distributors and retail locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Texas. The problem was discovered during an FSIS recall effectiveness check where the ineligible product was observed in a retail location. There have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about illness or injury should contact a healthcare provider. FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ pantries. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify theircustomers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls. Consumers and members of the media with questions about the recall can contact Mauricio Caro, Sales Manager of Inexport Logistics LLC, at (786) 670-4750 or sales@inexportlogistics.com.
