Does Grocery List Plus deliver groceries?

Yes — scheduled Saturday delivery in our launch metros. Chain-store scheduled delivery (Kroger family, etc.) goes live July 1, 2026 (MVP 1.1). Local-vendor delivery from farmers, butchers, and small grocers goes live August 1, 2026 (MVP 2). Both use the same Grocery List Plus driver fleet — not a third-party gig service.

How does delivery work?

You build your shopping list Monday–Wednesday. Your order locks Thursday. Saturday morning between 10 AM and 1 PM, your driver picks up at the chain store or local vendors on your route and delivers to your door. You see the same driver week after week, so the relationship builds over time.

Who delivers my groceries?

Accepted Answer

A Grocery List Plus driver who is dedicated to your zip cluster — not a rotating anonymous gig worker. Drivers pass a Checkr background check (SSN + national criminal + county records + sex offender registry + motor vehicle records, with continuous monitoring). You can see your driver's photo, bio, neighborhood, and languages spoken before each delivery.

Can I choose my driver?

Yes. Drivers in your zone publish profiles (photo, bio, languages, schedule, capacity). You opt in to a driver and they opt back — it's a two-way match, similar to how a relationship with a regular hairdresser or housecleaner works. Gold subscribers get priority matching to the most-requested drivers.

What does delivery cost?

A flat $7 delivery fee per scheduled delivery, the same in every zip cluster we serve. Silver, Gold, and Platinum include 1, 2, and 4 free deliveries per month (rolling over). A 15% tip is suggested at checkout (you choose 0% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% / custom) and 100% of every tip goes to your driver.

Where do you deliver?

Charlotte, NC and Cincinnati, OH at launch. We expand metro-by-metro based on driver capacity + vendor density. Drop your ZIP at /waitlist if your area isn't covered yet — that demand signal directly drives our expansion order.

Question 7

What if my driver isn't available one week?

Accepted Answer

A backup driver in your zone covers the route. You'll see who is delivering before pickup begins, and you can always skip a week with no penalty or rescheduling fee.

What if items I ordered are out of stock at the vendor?

Accepted Answer

Your driver texts you a quick substitution option (with photo) on pickup morning. You can swap, drop, or confirm in seconds. Vendors are encouraged to keep inventory current to minimize swaps.
